I trained as a Chef at college, I have now worked in catering for 27 years in a variety of roles.
I started at Twelve15 as a Catering Assistant five years ago. My Manager went on maternity leave and I stepped up to cover her Chef Manager role, I enjoyed the new challenge and catching up with my career again after having prioritised being a mum.
When the Chef Manager returned from her maternity leave, having acted-up into this position, I was able to secure a permanent Chef Manager role at another local school (St Charles Borromeo) where I currently work. This job allows me to balance my home and work life brilliantly and I can work it around my children which suits me. I also run a Face Painting company and enjoy the fact I can do both in conjunction.
